About This Project

FOOTPRINTS OF DAVID ARTS ACADEMY remain till date the resource centre for the FOOTPRINTS OF DAVID ART FOUNDATION. It serves appropriately as the training ground for the mental and physical development of the children. The Arts Academy where not only the performance Arts are taught but a school for the youngsters to growing their intellects as right thinking individuals, contributors to the socio-development of their immediate environment as well as serving as the nation in good capacities, now or in the nearest future. Since its establishment in the year 2005, FODAA has always engaged the expertise of several collaborators-in-progress to teach the Children in new styles of performance Art; music; literary Arts; aptitude all in bid to achieving the long term goals of the organization as well as help broaden the scope of knowledge at the disposal of the younger ones

A multiple-award winning children/student dance theatre group with vast experience in performances both at home and internationally, the FOD based in Bariga area of Lagos, enjoys patronage and support from numerous eminent Nigerians, and has received commendation in “performance excellence” from the former German president, Joachim Gauck, when he visited Nigeria few years ago. Led by the multi-skilled artiste dancer, drummer, poet and actor, Seun Awobajo, the FoD has travelled extensively in Europe, especially in Germany.
